Anxiety Online is a comprehensive online mental health service offering information, assessment, online diagnosis and treatment programs (“eTherapy”) for adults with anxiety disorders. It is a world-first initiative of the National eTherapy Centre at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, and is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.
Treatment programs are based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy and can be completed on their own (any adult over 18 years old with internet access) or with email-based assistance from a therapist (Australian residents only).
Programs are available for:
Generalised Anxiety Disorder
Social Anxiety Disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Panic Disorder with or without Agoraphobia
The National eTherapy Centre also offers programs through research trials, including a program for the treatment of depression, Depression Online. These programs will soon be part of a broader online mental health clinic to be renamed Mental Health Online.
